AIOBI provides this accessibility statement for the aiobi.pt website.
AIOBI is committed to making the aiobi.pt website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. The reference is level AA of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, which corresponds to the web requirements of the European standard EN 301 549.
AIOBI is not a public sector body, so Portuguese Decree-Law 83/2018 of 19 October does not apply to it. The website also does not provide e-commerce services to consumers covered by Portuguese Decree-Law 82/2022 of 6 December. This statement is voluntary and follows the model accessibility statement provided for in that legislation.
This statement applies to the aiobi.pt website, in its Portuguese and English versions, including the legal pages, news, forms, search, price calculator and AI assistant. It does not apply to the solution demos, published at other addresses, to the AIOBI Platform at aiobi.ai, or to the third-party websites the website links to.
The aiobi.pt website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA, due to the non-compliances listed in section 4.
The automated assessment of 60 pages (30 in Portuguese and 30 in English), in the Dark and Light themes, on desktop and mobile, found no failures. The failures found relate to the System theme and to specific components, listed in section 4.
Non-compliances found in the assessment of 27/09/2026, all due to be fixed by 31/10/2026:
- "System" theme (1.4.3 Contrast (minimum)): with the operating system in light mode, some texts (language selector, mobile menu, assistant suggestions, form messages) have insufficient contrast after the page is reloaded. Alternative: choose the Dark or Light theme.
- Quote request, step 1 (1.3.1 Info and relationships; 1.4.10 Reflow): the four options appear on top of each other. You can choose and move on with the keyboard. Alternative: the contact form or email info@aiobi.pt.
- Forms (3.3.1 Error identification; 4.1.2 Name, role, value): fields with errors are not flagged as invalid to assistive technologies, and the option group in step 1 of the quote form has no accessible name. Error messages are linked to the fields and focus moves to the error summary.
- Search on desktop (2.1.1 Keyboard): the results area with its own scrolling does not receive focus. The options can be navigated with the arrow keys.
- Zoom at 400% (1.4.10 Reflow): the "Private sector / Public sector" selector in the home page calculator and some long labels in the solutions' calculator are cut off.
- Home page animations (2.2.2 Pause, stop, hide): there are subtle continuous animations that cannot be stopped. They stop completely with the system's reduced motion setting.
- Home page (4.1.2 Name, role, value): the section index on the right has no accessible name.
Disproportionate burden: not claimed.
Content outside the scope: third-party websites and documents the website links to (for example, the news sources and the Google Maps map, which has a text alternative with the full address on the contact page).
The website has been designed to:
- be used with the keyboard alone, with focus always visible and a skip-to-content link at the start of each page;
- work with screen readers, with a single main heading per page, headings in order, accessible names, text alternatives for images and announcement of new assistant messages;
- have sufficient contrast in the Dark and Light themes;
- remain readable and usable with text enlarged to 200%, without horizontal scrolling;
- respect the system's reduced motion setting;
- provide captions for the demo videos.
- Method: self-assessment by the AIOBI team.
- Automated tools: axe-core, with the WCAG 2.1 level A and AA rules, on 60 pages, in the three themes (Dark, Light and System), on desktop and mobile (360 runs), and in open states (cookie notice, menu, search, assistant, calculator and forms with errors).
- Manual tests: keyboard-only navigation along 12 paths, zoom at 200% and 400%, text spacing, reduced motion, and checks of headings, landmarks, accessible names and text alternatives.
- Date of assessment: 27/09/2026.
